you will be aware, Senate appoints 24 members of academic
staff (who need not be members of Senate) to a Panel from
which the 2 ordinary members of Ordinance 4.2 (Appointment)
Committees are drawn. Appointments to the Panel are for

the recent call for nominations, we currently have 14
vacancies on this Panel. I should therefore be grateful if
you would consider who, within your area of influence, would
be able and willing to serve on the Panel for the period 1
August 2012 to 31 July 2015. The existing Panel membership

would be appropriate to nominate taking cognisance of the
