</o:shapelayout></xml><![endif]--></head><body lang=EN-GB link=blue vlink=purple><div class=WordSection1><p class=MsoNormal>Dear All,<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>There are three very important upcoming events in the Department’s recruitment calendar as follows:<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Tuesday 18<sup>th</sup> December 2012<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Thursday 20<sup>th</sup> December 2012 <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Wednesday 9<sup>th</sup> January 2013<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The events on these dates are Advanced Higher Days, whereby schools are invited to bring along their Advanced Higher Physics pupils to listen to various talks and then spend 2 hours in a lab conducting experiments with helpers – that is the help we are looking for.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>The Department needs at least 6 people to help on each of these days. This would be for 2 hours on the first two dates and 4 hours on the January date (numbers mean we will hold the event twice on that date).<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>Please let me know, by return if you can or at least as soon as possible, which dates you would be able to help – postgrads will of course be paid the usual rate.
