        <p>The Schlumberger Foundation invites applications for its
          faculty for the future fellowships. These enable women from
          developing and emerging economies to pursue PhD or
          postdoctoral studies in the physical sciences, engineering and
          technology at leading universities abroad. Fellows are
          expected to return to their home countries on completion of
          the fellowship in order to continue their academic careers,
          further their research, teach, and act as role models for
          other young women. </p>
        <p>Female citizens of developing countries and emerging
          economies who are enrolled in, admitted to or have applied to
          a university or research institute abroad are eligible to
          apply. Applicants should have an excellent academic record and
          be able to demonstrate active participation in faculty life
          and outreach programmes to encourage young women into the
          sciences.</p>
        <p>Fellowships cover tuition and university fees, accommodation
          and subsistence, and travel expenses, and are worth up to
          US$40,000 per year for postdoctoral study and up to US$50,000
          per year for PhD study. Fellowships may be renewed subject to
          satisfactory review.</p>
