I sent this email out at the beginning of the summer and so far have
not had a great response. My thanks to those of you who have already
responded.<br>

Can I urge you <b>all</b> to give me some kind of return if you
have not already done so. <br>
<br>
This is another way in which every member of staff can contribute to
our REF profile.<br>
<br>
We look particularly light in <b>plenary and invited talks</b>, and
I simply do not believe that our staff members have given so small a
number of conference talks.<br>

measures of esteem within the Department.

I would be grateful if you could supply me with the following if
they fall in the REF period (1 Jan 2008 onwards) <br>

</b><b>Any elections to learned societies, especially post-2008
elections.

</b><b>Any medals/prizes won since 2008.

</b><b>Journal editorships or editorial board memberships.

</b><b>Conference chairs or section chairs/programme committee etc.
</b><b><br>
</b><b>Conference plenary or major invited talks.
</b><b><br>
</b><b>Membership of research council panels.
</b><b><br>
</b><b>Any other things which show your contribution to the research
discipline.
