<p class="MsoNormal">I have rearranged the safety on <a href="https://moss.strath.ac.uk/physics/SitePages/homepage.aspx">
Physics SharePoint</a>. General research safety for each group, has been laid out under the Departments three divisions. The main types of folders are now in place, ready to receive each of your groups documentation, ( laser and ionising radiation will be kept
separate at the moment).<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Please make sure that the safety volunteer for your group, transfers all the necessary information
<b><u>as soon as possible</u></b>.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">If no one has yet volunteered within your group, please nominate a person to do this job! (Chris Nicol will give them access rights to the system). Larger groups or those spread over different areas or floors, may require more than one
volunteer. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We need to get this in place now, as the Department was told to do this by Safety Services after the safety audit, over two years ago – I have heard rumours, that the Audits will run in a three year cycle!<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Please note that the departments safety has now been , <b><u><span style="font-size:12.0pt">removed</span></u></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> from</span> spider.<o:p></o:p></p>
