<h1 style="background:white"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">“Asset Register<o:p></o:p></span></h1>
<p style="background:white"><a name="d.en.709987" id="cont"></a><span lang="EN" style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">A new University Asset Management System (supplied by Real Asset Management) was implemented in November 2012 and all
departments now have the ability to record their assets on the Inventory Management module of the system.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="background:white"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">The Real Asset Management system allows staff to maintain a centralised record of the assets under their control, ensuring that insurance and audit requirements
are fulfilled as well as providing a flexible way to manage and report on their own assets.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="background:white"><span lang="EN" style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">The University’s
<a href="http://www.strath.ac.uk/finance/generalinformation/regulationsandpolicies/" target="_blank" title="Financial Regulations">
financial regulations</a> stipulate that departments must maintain (on the central system) a record of the following assets: <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<ul type="disc">
