One way to generate income for Departments and set up new contacts within companies or other partners is to put on CPD event. The scale of the CPD can vary from a one-day course to a more involved on-line module delivered through Myplace.
If you are not sure what type of CPD you can offer, or how you would go about identifying a market and costing CPD then this series of 1.5 hour events will help guide you through the process and give you ideas on where you can ask for help. Each session is
a stand-alone event but to get the most out of this then step up to the challenge and register for all 4 and make your CPD into a reality.

There will be a prize of £300 for the best proposal that uses the skills developed over the challenge. Support will be given over the term of the CPD challenge and CPD proposals could form the basis of a proposal/business case to the Knowledge
Exchange Income Growth Fund (KEIGF), which supports new KE initiatives within the University.
