<p class="MsoPlainText">I was disappointed with the relatively low turnout for the UG pre-board yesterday. It is a primary responsibility of an academic staff member to participate fully in the assessment of students and therefore if it is at all possible for
you to be at the board on Friday I would strongly encourage you to do so. It only takes one afternoon of each year and you may have important information to contribute about specific candidates based on the knowledge you have gained from instructing them over
the last 4 or 5 years, that could have a bearing in the board’s decision.<o:p></o:p></p>
