<p class="MsoNormal">On behalf of the University of Strathclyde Researchers’ Group, we would like to inform you and your Department of the upcoming Strath-Wide conference.

<p class="MsoNormal">The Researchers’ Group started last year with the goal to enhance communication between Research Staff across departments and faculties, creating a channel for not only more efficient research by the University as a whole but also a better
management of issues that are common to Research Staff at all levels. This Group is now represented in some of the University’s Committees.

<p class="MsoNormal">In line with the recent launch of the new Strategic Themes, we are organising an internal one-day conference for Research Staff that will be organised around these themes, and the Theme Leaders will chair their corresponding Theme sessions.
This is thus an opportunity for Research Staff across the University to become more familiar with the new Themes, as well as with the breadth of research that each Theme represents and, potentially, a way to open new doors for collaboration across departments
and faculties. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">A Call for Abstracts has been circulated to Research Staff. However, we have come across many researchers who were unaware of the conference, highlighting the need to spread the word through other channels. Thus, we would kindly ask you
to circulate the call internally in your Department so that Academic Staff are also aware that it is happening and can pass the information on to Research Staff working in their projects. More information about the conference can be found on
