<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">The Doctoral School Multidisciplinary Symposium (DSMS) is a one day conference organised by research students for research students. There will be 36 presentations split across 3 parallel sessions running throughout
the day grouped by the institutional research themes: Health and Wellbeing, Ocean, Air and Space, Advanced Manufacturing and Materials, Energy, Society and Policy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, and Measurement Science and Enabling Technologies (programme
coming soon). <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">We are also hosting the institutional final of the Three Minute Thesis competition – competitors must convey the relevance and importance of their research to a general audience using 1 powerpoint slide and no
other visual aids and they have 180 seconds to do it – it’s not as easy as it sounds!<o:p></o:p></span></p>
