<p>The assessment structure for level 1 & 2 classes is being changed following engagement with the Transforming the Experience of Students through Assessment  (TESTA:

<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.testa.ac.uk/">http://www.testa.ac.uk/</a>) in accord with University guidelines.<br>

</p>

<p>The attached document describes the new assesment structure that should be adopted by lecturers next month. Also attached are the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) templates that should be used in the tests described and a template for use in the tutorials.

 The new assessment methods have been tested in the department and have had positive feedback from the students. It is important that the methods are applied consistently across the courses. We will review progress at the end of this academic year.<br>

<p>The process for returning the MCQ sheets for marking will follow shortly.</p>
