<p class="MsoNormal">I hope you are well. Every year the Alumni
and Development Department apply to the John Mather Charitable
Trust for a ‘Rising Star Award’. The Rising Star Award is a
sum of money awarded to an outstanding student put forward by
the Faculty. Previous successful students have been awarded
£10,000. Alumni & Development take it in turns between
the faculties to nominate a student, and this year it has come
back round to Science. The award is for PG (PGT and PGR) and
PhD students. Please find further information attached.<o:p></o:p></p>
