Dear All,

I forgot to add that there are lots of open questions regarding
provision of PPE, in-lab sanitation, ‘researcher density’
assessment of labs etc that the RRDG will be considering as part
of its remit. For now, please list the research staff and support
staff that you would like considered for early access, together
with the lab room numbers, and we will get answers to these other
questions in due course. Thanks

Regards,

Dear All,

Following the first meeting of the University's Return and
Resume Development Group (RRDG) and the Executive Team (ET)
meeting yesterday, I have received an urgent request overnight
to identity staff to be considered for a ‘first wave’ return to
campus, in anticipation of an expected gradual relaxation to the
lockdown in the coming weeks. The ET's expectation is that the
first staff to return will be research teams and their support
staff, particularly those requiring priority lab access.

The turnaround is very tight and I need to reply with a list
later today, for the Faculty to consider ahead of a meeting
tomorrow morning. Members of the Department's Leadership Team
will consider the submitted documents and prioritise the
requests.

If you would like your research team to be considered for this
first wave of access (likely in June), please complete and
return the attached form to me by 3pm today. Due to the very
short turnaround time, brief details and justification is fine.
We will come back to you later for more details.

There will be second and third waves of return (to be defined,
but likely to be July and August). If you would prefer to be
considered for the second or third wave, then please also let me
know. There will a deadline next week for that.

I'm sorry for the very short notice, but the request only came
in overnight. Please complete what you can today and submit
additional details when time permits. Thanks
