The data procured through this survey is going to be critical to our understanding of how teaching room resources on campus are actually being used in practice and will be used to inform future discussions in STG.<o:p class=""></o:p></div>

We have not carried out a survey in this format for a number of years and some staff will never have experienced what it entails in practice for classes. We are again employing agency staff, (many of whom have carried out previous surveys of this type when
we did them annually,) and they have instructions to not disturb the class. They will enter the room if they need to, (if they can count from outside through a vision panel or window they will,) identify themselves, (only because we were asked to do that in
previous surveys,) count the number of students in the room and leave as quickly as possible. Each surveyor has between 25 and 35 rooms to visit each hour so they need to get round the rooms and count the occupants efficiently.<o:p class=""></o:p></div>
