<p class="MsoPlainText">There will be a presentation about summer project opportunities in the Department to 3rd and 4th year undergraduates on Wednesday (16<sup>th</sup> Nov) at 2pm in JA412.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">As far as I know, all the usual schemes which support summer projects in the Department (Carnegie, EPSRC, Research Interns @ Strathclyde) are running this year, with the Rank Foundation also expected to be open to applications for projects
related to optoelectronics.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">The presentation is relatively early due to the Carnegie deadline now being at the end of January. The other scheme deadlines are expected to be ~March 2023.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoPlainText">If you want to advertise a project, please either come along to the meeting or send me a slide/some text and I'll advertise it for you. I realise some of you will be at PH550 talks during this time.<o:p></o:p></p>
