<p class="MsoNormal">Both research integrity and culture are high priorities for us – from how they support research quality and staff wellbeing to their translation in REF and research funder priorities. The Research Integrity and Culture Week will thus be
an important opportunity to sit down together as a community and explore best practices, challenges and new developments around how we conduct and contribute to research

<p class="MsoNormal">The University is expecting all staff conducting, leading or enabling research to engage with at least one event or activity during the Week - I would encourage you all to make the most of this Week and participate in any sessions that
may allow you to foster your understanding and contribute to conversations.<o:p></o:p></p>

external speakers from key organisations</a> related to research integrity and culture to discuss priorities for enhancing and embedding a culture of research integrity.

interactive workshops on Tuesday and Wednesday (24+25<sup>th</sup> Jan) which will provide an opportunity to dig into specific topics in research integrity, including

<a href="https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/6242">Responsible Research Assessment</a>,

<a href="https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/6238">Ethics and Research Governance</a>.

an event on Thursday (26<sup>th</sup> Jan), led by Deputy Associate Principals and focusing on
<a href="https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/6244">fostering a culture of openness and inclusivity</a>, with case studies of best practice from Strathclyde colleagues.

<p class="MsoNormal">In addition to these larger-scale events, <a href="https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/CoursesList?SearchTerm=culture+caf&SelectedProvider=&SelectedCategory=&Index=Filter">
Culture Café sessions</a> will be running for each Faculty to discuss local and systemic research culture more informally. Events for specific staff/student groups will also run throughout the week, including events for

Research Leads (HoD/S, DoR)</a> and <a href="https://bookings.strath.ac.uk/Home/Course/6241">
PGR Supervisors and Line Managers</a>. Further resources will be shared through daily emails directly to staff to spotlight particular topics in research integrity and stimulate discussions amongst colleagues.
