<p style="text-align:justify;background:white"><span class="xcontentpasted0"><span style="color:black">The scheme aims to support <b>early career researchers</b> with outstanding potential to tackle ambitious and challenging research and boost their career
trajectory. The definition of “early career” is open and there are no time bound criteria. Rather, applicants need to be clear why they should be considered an early career researcher: this can include those changing field/focus; those moving from teaching
to research posts; those moving from clinical to academic contracts; as well as those wishing to develop and lead their own research group for the first time. This scheme is ideally suited for those who have established their independence and are now ready
to <b><i>transition to leadership</i></b>. </span></span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
