<div class="elementToProof">After the exams, but before the Summer gets really started, it would be useful if we can start discussing possible ways to improve the transition between modules for the major subject areas in Physics.</div>

<li class="elementToProof">Can we be smarter and achieve more with less effort: for example have students already seen a sub-topic in detail last year or will get it again next year?</li><li class="elementToProof">Are there gaps in student knowedge that cause problems teaching your module?</li><li class="elementToProof">What are the bumps we need to smooth out between modules to ease student progression in your subject?</li><li class="elementToProof">What sort of graduates do we want to produce at the end (what skill should they have or what should they understand about my topic)?</li></ul>


<div class="elementToProof">There are already vertical meetings planned in several areas of department teaching (labs, skills, computational teaching, ...), but we need more.</div>

<div class="elementToProof">If your topic is taught in several years of the Physics degrees, it would be good to get people together to talk about possible incremental changes to further improve the teaching that our students already generally rate as excellent.<br>

<div class="elementToProof">The teaching coordination team can help facilitate meetings (John, Alison, Helen, Brian M and Ben are all happy to sit in if helpful). But it would be good if topics can self organise and get talking.</div>
