<p class="MsoNormal">The John Anderson Physics Colloquia programme for 2024-25 has some open slots. Le me know if you have any suitable suggestions, together with some explanation of why they would be a good colloquium speaker (able to address people across
the whole department) or relevant to advancing wider aims of the department, and a rough guess as to costs. I will consult senior staff on suitability/preference list.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The Colloquium budget is modest, UK speakers should be no problem but for international visitors it may be preferable to combine the colloquium with other purposes and funding support to maximise “bang for buck”.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">It would be good to have a diverse set of colloquia topics and speakers, not necessarily from existing departmental areas of research, but could also be on more general and topical subjects. Speaker suggestions are welcome all year round,
but to provide sufficient lead time for Semester 1 (Sept-Dec 2024), please send me your suggestion by Friday 21<sup>st</sup> June 2024.
