Dear All,

Thank you to those of you invigilating exams. The full University
Policy on Invigilation of Examinations can be accessed here: Policy
on invigilation of examinations

Can I please ask that you very strongly emphasize to students that
they are not permitted to access mobile phones (or electronic
devices) at any time and these should be left in their bags and
turned off.

In addition, they should only have permitted material (e.g. pens,
calculator, bottle of water etc.) with them at the exam desk and
they will be asked to show that their pockets are empty if they
need to go to the toilet. Any wallets etc. should be left in
their bags at the side of the room. Please do check that their
pockets are empty if they need to leave the room.

Thanks very much.

Best regards,

Alison
