committee
normally meets in person about twice a year, with a further
2-3
teleconferences in between. It covers a broad spectrum of
topics, from the
foundations of quantum physics and information theory,
through the
investigation and control of fundamental physical and
chemical phenomena, to
new types of quantum technologies, metrology and standards.</span></p>

group
runs its own meeting (one or two day) once a year, this year
it is the Topical
Research Meeting on Hybrid Quantum Systems 16-18th December

addition it provides sponsorship and is actively involved in
organising
other National meetings including QuAMP and PHOTON.</span></p>
