<p class="MsoNormal">Please forward as appropriate the following announcement about the Call now open for the KE Development Fund.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The University’s KE Development Fund exists to support the pump-priming of KE activities, in particular those which require start-up funding and which can demonstrate a return on investment and future income generation.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Proposals which have collaborative activities between faculties and/or multi-disciplinary aspects will be viewed favourably, as will proposals which will enhance knowledge exchange with organisations (in industry,
government or the third sector) in any of the following four sectors: Health; Energy; Advanced Manufacturing; and Future Cities. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">Bids are invited for a maximum total of £20,000 per proposal, of which up to 50% can be from the KE Development Fund, with the remaining 50% co-funded from other sources such as faculty or department funds.
