<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">The University’s new Finance System, FMS, is now operational, and ready to be rolled out to the University community.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">We will begin the rollout on Monday morning, starting with users within Finance. This will allow work to progress on the input of documents received since the
close down of Oracle Finance on 31 July. There has been a substantial number of transactions during the close down period and these now need to be reflected in FMS to ensure a correct opening position.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">Once we have confirmed a successful rollout to Finance we will start the release of FMS to Departments.</span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">Although, at the moment, we cannot be precise about the timing of the release, we anticipate that FMS will be available to the majority of users by late Monday
or early Tuesday. </span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial","sans-serif";color:black">We will contact users and Departments directly as FMS becomes available to them, and confirm to all users when the rollout is complete. We will continue to provide
regular updates on the resources and assistance available to support users’ ongoing use of FMS.
