<p class="MsoNormal">We will shortly be launching the 2016/2017 Strathclyde Chancellor’s Fellowship Scheme, which will seek to appoint up to 20 exceptional early career academics in strategically important research areas. A list of these research areas is
listed at the bottom of this email. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">As you will be aware, Chancellor’s Fellows are normally appointed at Lecturer level. The Fellowship lasts for 5 years during which the Fellows are supported to establish their career as a research leader and achieve rapid career progression.<span style="background:white">
Fellows who meet the criteria for promotion to Senior Lectureship by the end of the 5 year period are transferred to an open-ended academic appointment.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
