<p class="MsoPlainText"><b>Japan Society for the Promotion of
Science (JSPS) briefing session – Friday 6th September <o:p></o:p></b></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">JSPS is the largest funding agency in
Japan, supporting basic scientific research in all disciplines
from postgraduate level and above.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoPlainText">JSPS will hold an information session at
Strathclyde from 10.30-12.00 on 6th September, the session
will provide an opportunity to learn about the variety of
funding opportunities available for researchers at Strathclyde
to collaborate with researchers in Japan, these include
individual fellowships, funding for group level projects and
institutional level collaborations to build international
