<p class="MsoNormal">Thank you to those who have already offered assistance at our Advanced Higher Day events in January, your assistance is greatly appreciated.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The excellent outcome from the REF 2014 gives us an ideal opportunity to change the student profile in the department and a very good activity to start this is presented by our Advanced Higher Days. At the moment we do not have sufficient
help to run these days and are asking that you please help by offering <b>at least two hours</b> of your time in the labs.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">There are now only two of these events running on the following dates –
<b>Friday 9<sup>th</sup> January 2015</b> and <b>Tuesday 13<sup>th</sup> January 2015</b>. We require 6 – 8 helpers at each lab session to be held – that is two hours on each of the mornings and two hours on each of the afternoons = 4 lab sessions in total.

<p class="MsoNormal">PG students will, of course, be paid the usual rate.<o:p></o:p></p>
