<p class="MsoNormal">Please see attached the first notification of the end of year assessments that all Physics PhD students are required to undertake. I have attached instructions and a timetable for students in all three years. Start-dates and programmes
vary so if you are not certain which applies to you, please consult with your supervisor and thereafter with me if still unsure.

<p class="MsoNormal">Please note that the 1<sup>st</sup> year Postgraduate conference will be on the 12<sup>th</sup> August at Ross Priory and the 2<sup>nd</sup> year poster session will take place on the 13<sup>th</sup> August in the department. These are
compulsory events.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The assessment vivas and progress meetings will take place during the month of September at a time to be arranged.<o:p></o:p></p>
