<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman","serif";mso-fareast-language:EN-GB">I’m mailing about an IOP event which is happening in a fortnight and will be of value to the PhD students and postdocs in Strathclyde. As you
may be aware, in September the IOP launched a guide to funding for early career researchers entitled “Navigating the Funding Landscape” (which I wrote). This was launched in London at an event with a range of speaker who gave insights into the whole funding
process - funders, researchers, reviewers and panel members, followed by a Dublin event last month. The guide features a number of Scottish physicists so I was keen to host a local event to give Scottish researchers the benefit of an event. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
