<p class="MsoNormal">Just a short note of thanks to all the staff and especially the students who attended Ross Priory yesterday and made this year’s PG conference a success. I’d also like to thank Audrey for all of her hard work in organising the event.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">This year, we ran two parallel sessions because of the large number of students speaking and so we have awarded two prizes for best talk. These went to (in no particular order):<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Peter Tinning and Paul Hill.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I’m sure you will all join me in congratulating Peter and Paul, but also in applauding the generally extremely high standard of talks given by all of the students.<o:p></o:p></p>
