rate agreed by the Department/School in line with normal University pay and grading arrangements”. Accordingly, this would be a great opportunity for all PGRs who teach to express any issues related to the time spent on preparation and marking as well as any
late payments for their teaching hours.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

variation between university departments with regards to the pay structure, some tutors are paid close to £40 per hour for tutorials while others receive </span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#222222;background:white">≈</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;color:black">£18, </span><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:#222222;background:white">≈</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Tahoma",sans-serif;color:black">£12
or are not paid at all. There is also variation on payment for preparation time and marking, again with some tutors being paid for these additional hours of work while others are not.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
