<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">The Trustees of the Thomas and Margaret Roddan Trust are offering a small number of bursaries of between £500 to £3,000 to undergraduates who will have completed at least one year of study at
the time of taking up the award; postgraduates undertaking taught courses (including part-time); or postgraduates engaged in research for a higher degree. Students due to complete their studies at end May/June or applicants due to begin their studies in September
2020 are NOT eligible.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Awards may be made to students having their ordinary residence in Scotland and studying anywhere in the world (including Scotland) or students having their ordinary residence outside Scotland
and studying in Scotland.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Students must complete an application form, personal statement and provide financial details and a reference. The Trustees will not fund applications to cover expenditure which should have been
planned at the outset of the course such as required periods abroad and required field courses. The Trustees are, of course, willing to consider applications where a student has suffered financial hardship through unexpected circumstances.
