<p class="MsoNormal">The ability for a prospective student to speak to a current student about their potential course of study, the campus, student life in Glasgow etc. can help the applicant in their decision making and ultimately choosing to study at Strathclyde.
The University now has the UniBuddy platform which allows this peer to peer communication between prospective students and current students.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">At this time there has been a ‘soft launch’ of UniBuddy which colleagues in the Recruitment and International Office have lead on and info on the current Buddies can be found on the following webpage -

<p class="MsoNormal">We are now at the stage to expand the platform and recruit more UniBuddy Ambassadors to represent courses across the Faculty of Science.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align:justify;line-height:115%">UniBuddy Ambassadors will answer enquiries from prospective students via the Unibuddy App and on average the number of hours work per month will be 2 hours, which UniBuddy Ambassadors will receive
payment for. Training will be provided to the UniBuddy Ambassadors and they will be supported by members of staff in the Recruitment and International Office and Faculty staff .<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">There will be a recruitment process for recruiting new UniBuddy Ambassadors which is being managed by colleagues in the Recruitment and International Office. I would be grateful if you could each provide me with the names of a couple of
PGR students who have graduated from a Faculty of Science UG or PGT course in the last 2 years and who you may think would be interested in such a role and be a UniBuddy Ambassador for the course they have now graduated from. I can then follow up with the
students with further info on being a UniBuddy Ambassador and the info they need to provide colleagues in RIO should they wish to apply.<o:p></o:p></p>
