Strathclyder</span></a></span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#201F1E">’ is the University’s widening access schools outreach programme, established in January 2023. Working with pupils from primary school level upwards,
the programme raises awareness of higher education, supports attainment, and offers exciting learning opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Through the different levels of the programme, pupils undertake a series of interactive activities
representing the four different faculties at Strathclyde. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#201F1E">The Widening Access Team is looking for current Strathclyde students studying STEM subjects to help deliver activities to groups of pupils taking part in Young Strathclyder. These
activities will take place on-campus and in-schools. This is a great opportunity for students to develop their skills while making a positive difference to the educational outcomes of young people.

<span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#201F1E">The hours on the programme are flexible and students will be able to choose which projects they are available to work on, based on their other commitments. The hourly rate for mentoring
work is £12.30. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
