The friendly place
A recent Student Experience survey of 13,000 UK students carried out for The Times Higher Educational Supplement revealed that Strathclyde is highly rated for the quality of lectures and staff, and having a good social life. Out of 113 UK universities, Strathclyde is 30th overall, and many current students would recommend it to their friends.
Our teaching was rated as excellent in the last teaching evaluation. We also promote excellence in research - one of our groups obtained a prestigious 5* rating in the last RAE.
