Elective Classes in Physics

The Department of Physics at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland offers a large number of ten-credit elective classes for students from all faculties and disciplines. These range from general courses for students interested in understanding both the natural world and modern technology to mainstream physics classes aimed at science and engineering students.

The purpose of this summary is to assist students and their advisers of study to select suitable electives in physics. While the times given below are for lectures, most modules also have tutorials. In some cases, there may be flexibility in tutorial times. For up-to-date timetables, please see the semester 1 and semester 2 timetable on the main physics site.
