Please join us for the Stem Cells and Neuroscience: Technologies, Capabilities and Collaborations in Action event
on
Thursday 3rd May 2012, 12.00-18.00hr, University of Strathclyde
The recently established Strathclyde Stem Cell Network, Health Technologies - Neuroscience, and the Strathclyde Institute of Pharmacy & Biomedical Sciences (SIPBS) Knowledge Exchange Hub (KE Hub) would like you to join us on the 3rd May to attend their "Technologies, capabilities and collaborations in action" event.
This is an opportunity to hear how the University is supporting Research in Stem Cells and in Neuroscience through the Health Technologies at Strathclyde initiative, part of the multi-million pound investment in the Technology & Innovation Centre (http://www.strath.ac.uk/tic/).
To register and learn more about this free event please visit (http://ewds.strath.ac.uk/keweek/Events/StemCellsNeuroscience.aspx). Further information is also available in the attached flyer.
The above event is part of the 'Engage with Strathclyde' event, taking place between 30 April and 4 May - for more details on this please visit the following link (http://www.strath.ac.uk/engage/).
The Strathclyde Stem Cell Network has been established to recognise the breadth of stem cell related research that currently exists across Strathclyde, and to help foster the academic and industrial collaborations necessary to grow our research capacity within this increasingly important area. At present, we have members drawn from across SIPBS, Chemistry, Bioengineering and Psychology and we are very keen to have input from staff across all areas of the university and beyond as we develop the network. Therefore, if you would like to join or are just interested in finding out a bit more about the network and its activities, then please email myself(christopher.mccormick at strath.ac.uk<mailto:christopher.mccormick at strath.ac.uk>).
Best wishes,
Dr Hilary Carswell Dr Edmond Chan Dr Chris McCormick
