[Academic] 4th and 5th Year Physics Undergraduate Project Vivas and Reports

Attached is a revised version of the project viva timetable for next week. There are some changes to Erling's schedule - affecting supervisors of Sheena Barclay, Billy Robertson and Garry Cameron.

I've been asked whether agreeing to be an extra marker for the viva means you need to read the report. The answer is yes, please!

Also about when the marks for the reports are due in - Erling asks that they be handed in at the viva, so that the marks can be finalised shortly afterwards.

I've had some feedback from my earlier email, indicating some problems. Here's some guidance notes. As ever your mileage may vary.

The official page for how to use the university shared drives is here:

It gives notes for Windows XP, Vista, 7, Mac OS X

The URL for the project files is:

https://webdrive.strath.ac.uk/idrive/Physics/project

If using MacOS X, the instructions on the webpage above work.

If using Linux, connect to the network share/server using Webdav (https)

If using Windows, you can use the URL above to map a network drive, or paste:

\\ds.strath.ac.uk\idrive\Physics\project<file:///\\ds.strath.ac.uk\idrive\Physics\project>

into Windows Explorer.

You can also access the I: drive from Pegasus, but make sure your using IE. It doesn't work with Firefox or Chrome.
