Dear all,
It appears that there is a lot of funding outstanding (*around £200k
*remaining to be allocated before June 8^th ) from this year's SFC
Innovation Voucher allocation for 5K awards for short term KE projects
with a Scottish SME where the usual Innovation Voucher criteria apply
(leading to the developing of new products, processes or services;
leading to a longer term collaboration).
If you are interested, please contact Janine De Fence (
janine.de-fence at strath.ac.uk), RKES Knowledge Transfer Co-ordinator
Thanks
Paul

*Subject:* FW: Innovation Voucher Update - remaining funds to be
allocated by June 2012 and call for applications
*Importance:* High
Hello all
Please see below for an update on the current calls for Innovation
Voucher standard and follow on applications , I trust you will forward
on to all relevant colleagues. *These deadlines supercede the
information in the guidelines in light of the remaining funding and
should provide comfort to your colleagues in Finance offices in relation
to payment profiles. *
*_Standard Innovation Voucher Update _**__*
Many thanks to those who have submitted applications and please keep
them coming in.
The final deadline for applications for *standard innovation vouchers*
is *Friday 8^th June*. *Projects must commence by 30^th June and can
complete up to 30^th October 2012. *
*_Follow on Innovation Vouchers_*
Following a very positive pilot of the Scottish Funding Council *Follow
on Innovation Voucher Scheme *(in partnership with Scottish Enterprise
and Highlands and Islands Enterprise) , we are pleased to announce
another call. An email detailing the vouchers awarded to date per
institution is being sent in the regular monthly update from the
relevant Interface team member.
The awards are specifically intended to encourage existing partnerships
that have previously collaborated and jointly received funding under the
Scottish Funding Council Innovation Voucher awards scheme or through a
SEEKIT Feasibility study or through the Highlands and Islands Enterprise
Business Innovation Grant (BIG) awards.
You can apply for funding between £5,000-£20,000 for a follow on voucher
award (for an individual project) and the level of grant requested *must
be matched in cash by the company*. So for a project with a total cost
of £40,000, £20,000 will be contributed in cash by the company and
£20,000 from the funders.
The current deadline is *Friday 18^th May 2012*.*Projects must commence
by 30^th June and can complete up to 30^th October 2012.*
*_Funding Available_*
At present there is *around £200k *remaining to be allocated before June
8^th (around 40 standard IVs) so please get those applications in!
/Kind Regards/
/Laura/
