ATOMIC FORCE MICROSCOPY @STRATHCLYDE
Friday 22 June 2012
Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) is routinely used to solve processing and materials problems in a wide range of technologies from electronics to drug formulations. AFM can be used for the investigation of wear, cleaning, corrosion and detection of transfer of material and surface potential. This event aims to bring together academics and researchers with an interest in learning about the research opportunities associated with AFM from across the university as well as industry partners to form a group that facilitates user interactions, instrument development and knowledge transfer.
Poster abstracts are also invited from PhD Students to showcase their research with prizes awarded for the best poster. Abstracts should be forwarded to Dimitrios Lamprou - dimitrios.lamprou at strath.ac.uk<mailto:dimitrios.lamprou at strath.ac.uk>.
