[Academic] SUPA Energy theme activities for the SUPAII annual report

Dear all,

I've been asked to report on SUPA Energy theme related activities at 
Strathclyde, covering the period 1 August 2011 to 31 July 2012, for 
inclusion in the SUPAII annual report. Apologies for the short notice, 
but I've just received the request and the report is due in the next day 
or two.

Please let me know about any:
1.       new energy related research activity in your group
2.       new energy related funding in the review period
3.       changes in academic appointments and fellowships, with names, 
which impact on our energy related research
4.       highlights e.g. papers in high-profile journals, papers that 
attracted media attention, keynote lectures
