[Academic] Thanks and future evenys

Dear All,

Thanks to all those who helped out with the Open Day yesterday and today. The help is greatly appreciated.


The next event on the horizon is the Departmental Open Evening which takes place on Thursday 8th November 2012 from 7 pm until 9 pm. As in previous years I would like to show off research labs and take the visitors around the teaching labs. Stefan Kuhr and Adrian Cross have already indicated that they are willing to allow their labs to be used. If any other research groups will allow access to their labs then please let Lynn know, I really I would like to show about 6 to 8 research labs.

I will also need staff / PG students to act as guides to take the visitors around the labs and answer any questions that the visitors may have. Again if you wish to volunteer please let Lynn know.
