*RSE YOUNG ACADEMY OF SCOTLAND - CALL FOR NEW MEMBERS*

The RSE Young Academy of Scotland has invited applications from 
prospective new members.

Established in 2011, the Academy is associated with the Royal Society of 
Edinburgh. Its purpose is to bring together the most able and innovative 
young academics, entrepreneurs and professionals in Scotland with the 
aim of stimulating creative ideas and collaborative working that will 
help Scotland tackle the global challenges of the 21st Century.

Joining the initial cohort of 68 members, the new members will enable 
the Young Academy to develop its programme of work and enhance its 
influence.

Applications are welcome from academics of all disciplines, and from the 
professions, the arts, civil society and business. They can be submitted 
online <http://www.youngacademyofscotland.org.uk/>- deadline Mon 15 Oct.
