Hopefully you've seen notices from the UG Physics Society advertising 
their social event next Tues (9th).

(1) Please attend if you can - they've indicated to me that staff are 
very welcome!

(2) Note that the JA8.25 common room will be full of students and 
probably pizza from 4pm. Hope that doesn't inconvenience anyone.
