[Academic] EPSRC DTG/University studentships 2013/14

[Gordon Robb]

Details of the allocation procedure for EPSRC DTG and University 
studentships (to begin in Oct 2013) are now available.

The process is broadly similar to that of last year, with 3 "tranches" :

Tranche 1 - departmental allocation
Tranche 2 - project-based competition (expected to be mid-February)
Tranche 3 - student-based competition (June/July)

The tranche 2 competition deadline should be announced shortly - 
expected to be in mid-February.
