*The Equality Challenge Unit is seeking the view of staff and students
on how HEIs can support people experiencing mental health difficulties. *

In particular, we want to understand how HEIs:

  * develop an environment which encourages people to share that they
are experiencing mental health difficulties and receive targeted support
  * proactively ensure that courses, work environment and conditions,
facilities and services are accessible to staff and students
    experiencing mental health difficulties

Staff and student online surveys will be launched on *Tuesday 12 March*
and will be linked to from our website:

Understanding adjustments: supporting staff and students experiencing
mental health difficulties

The views of staff and students who have experienced mental health
difficulties will be invaluable in helping us develop materials to
promote an inclusive campus environment supportive of mental health.

Please support this work by encouraging your staff and student networks
to complete the ECU survey.
