Dear colleagues

Please find attached notification of a research event focusing on the
development of forensic science research to be held on 5th December 2013
at the Royal Society of Edinburgh. The event is aimed at early career
academics/researchers from any discipline.

This is the first time such as meeting has been held in Scotland and as
such we wish to bring it to the attention of as many colleagues as
possible. The aim is to bring together colleagues from a wide range of
disciplines to collectively address the research challenges within the
domain. The event has been organised by Professor Niamh Nic Daeid,
University of Strathclyde and Professor Sue Black, University of Dundee
and is sponsored and supported by the Technology Strategy Board,
Scottish Enterprise and the Forensic Science special interest group.

I would be most grateful if you could bring this to the attention of
eligible staff through the usual internal dissemination mechanisms.
*Places are limited and closing date for applications is 18 October.*

My kindest regards

Niamh
