[Academic] PH450 and PH550 - first round of project allocations

Hello,

Attached is a list of the allocated projects so far.

There are 24 fifth year project students, 5 with newly allocated projects.

There are 55 fourth year students, 31 of whom got their first choice, 4 their second and 8 their third choice. 11 failed to get any of their choices, 1 student didn't hand a form in.

The students have been contacted through MyPlace, so should be in touch with their supervisors soon.

A second round of allocations for the 12 fourth year students who don't yet have a project begins today - the deadline for the form is Tuesday 8th October at 12 noon.

Thorsten has organised Laser Safety training for those who need it on Wednesday 9th October from 10-12 in CV/309a.
