Dear colleagues,

Institute Of Physics Awards 2014

The Institute of Physics awards aim to recognise and reward those people who
have made outstanding achievements in industry, business and research as
well as contributions made to physics outreach and education and the
application of physics and physics-based technologies.

We are now seeking nominations for the 2014 Awards and need your help to
nominate the most outstanding candidates in their respective fields.

The attached flyer outlines all of the awards for which we are seeking
nominations, please feel free to pass this information on to any of your
colleagues to whom it may be of interest. I would particularly draw your
attention to our Thomson Medal
<http://www.iop.org/about/awards/subject/thomson/page_38608.html> which
recognises distinguished research in atomic (including quantum optics) or
molecular physics.

Full details of the nomination procedure, eligibility and terms of reference
are available on our website. Please go to <http://www.iop.org/about>
www.iop.org/about and select Awards. The closing date for receipt of
nominations is Friday 24 January 2014.

If you require any other information, please feel free to contact me.

Kind regards,

Claire
