[Academic] PH550 project talks tomorrow 11 December

Dear all,

tomorrow we will have project talks for the PH550 course. This will be a complicated operation, involving 23 student presenters and nearly as many staff and research supervisors, in three separate venues. Fourth year students have also been encouraged to attend talks in support of their fellows.

Since the presentations are graded, it is important that they be quorate. Ideally, we need at least one 'non-involved' academic, in addition to the chairman and supervisor(s), present at each talk and question session. I'm sure I can count on your support for this important student business!

Finally, in order to ensure a smooth operation, Erling and I will be adhering strictly to Tim's time schedule. Extra copies of the schedule will be available and posted tomorrow.
