Dear All,
Strathclyde's Centre for Space Science and Applications has been formed as a section of the broader Strathclyde Space Institute hub --- please use the following link to access the main site
http://www.strath.ac.uk/space/.
The Centre for Space Science and Applications already has links with space science experiments in physics, such as testing the Equivalence Principle in space, testing Quantum Entanglement, and the LISA Pathfinder experiment (gravitational wave detection from space), as well as with the exploitation of satellite data for environmental monitoring of the Earth's Oceans.
However, I am asking all academic staff in the Science Faculty if they would reply to this email if they
* already have links with one or more Space Science experiments.
* are planning in the near future to be involved in specific Science experiments in space.
* have ideas for (perhaps cross-disciplinary) Space Science experiments.
Please reply, if appropriate, giving details of your area(s) of activity and / or interest
With many thanks,
Nicholas Lockerbie
